LA GRANGE
Guest House

ABOUT
!is house is "our home" and we wanted it to be warm, calm and welcoming. I live here, all year round, in the midst of the woods, birds, deers... in the company of my cat Agathe. I like to walk in the countryside around my home, read, swim and welcome my children or travellers with whom I like to share this place.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
For all travellers, a complete breakfast is served, made with organic, homemade products, included in the room price. Please tell me as soon as you arrive if you are intolerant to certain foods.
Wifi
The house is equipped with Internet Access and we have a very good wifi connection.
Garden
My garden is my paradise. I have been happily living here for only two years, and since then, I am gradually regaining control of this place and discovering, day after day, the richness of the local flora. Everyone can enjoy this protected environment.
Care
I share the house with my hosts and maintain the house and garden myself.
Swimming Pool
You can access the swimming pool
any time you want: you have bathroom linens in your rooms. It is not an Olympic swimming pool but it has the merit to be there, and it is very pleasant to take a bath in the middle of the woods!
PS:The swimming pool is not heated.
Table D’hôte
If you wish, I can prepare the dinner of your choice, light, normal or gourmet. Always with organic and local products.

AROUND
Whether leaving the house on foot, by bicycle or by car, it is possible to discover places that are all more curious and beautiful than each other, in this still wild countryside, so close to the Luberon
Massif.
Of course, I have iconic places to which I return as soon as I have a moment.
I am particularly fond of the Contadour Massif, dear to Jean Giono. It is quite a magnificent place with its large mountain pastures and forests as well as its magnificent dry stone shepherding huts near which I like to settle, to read or, quite simply to contemplate the landscape and to listen to the nature.
"ere is also the Abbey of Valsaintes and its garden filled with roses and a multitude of other plants,
resistant to our dry climate and, above all, head for the chapel, which is moving for its simplicity and the great serenity that it reigns in it.
Near Valsaintes, go and see the Gorges d'Oppédette, impressive for their steepness. I hope you can see them when the sky is of a beautiful blue, inhabited by the flight of an eagle: it is a magnificent sight.
Of course, you can't come to Banon without going to the Librairie du Bleuet, a surprising place, a whole house in which, without a doubt, you will find THE book you need.
"en, I am here to guide you, to inform you and to provide you with plans and maps as well as the documentation of the Banon Tourist O'ce, towards which you can orient yourself to be informed by Nathalie and Julia who know their "country" perfectly.
